The IBC in Wales

Institute of Business Consulting Wales (IBCW) Region Network consists entirely of business consultants and advisers with expertise within the key sectors.

The core activity of the Network is:

To facilitate:

  • Recognition of IBC in Wales
  • Recognition of members as a source of knowledge & competency
  • The IBC’s role as a trusted partner in Welsh economy.  This involves building relationships with, for example:
    • Professional and trade organisations
    • Welsh Assembly Government Business Support
    • Individual business initiatives

To understand:

  • The requirements of the membership and to facilitate the members needs – these include:
    • Continuous Professional Development
    • Opportunities to share best practice with like-minded professionals and experts
    • Networking amongst membership
    • Knowledge-sharing opportunities
    • Exposure to the purchasing decision-makers and influencers
    • Raise individual member’s profile
    • Facilitate recruitment of new IBC members
    • Opportunity to deliver national messages locally
    • Provide information on local activity
    • Promote its members to prospective clients in the open market across the UK.

The network is run by a committee with representation from South, Mid and North Wales.  Since formation in January 2008, the committee members have voluntarily and successfully organised over 10 regional events.
